Community Involvement

Collegiate Peaks Eyecare is actively committed to community involvement and giving back to Buena Vista and our surrounding area.

These are just a few of the ways that we choose to consistently contribute:

• School Screenings: We provide complimentary vision screenings at various local children’s programs including Little Apes and Busy Bees Preschools, Darren Patterson Christian Academy and the Buena Vista Boys & Girls Club.
• Youth Sports: When not in the office, Dr. Scott can often be found serving as “Coach Scott” for a variety of local youth sports teams.
• Donations: In place of a formal fee structure for minor eyewear repairs or adjustments, our office happily accepts donations towards the Boys & Girls Club in return for customer appreciation of our services.
• Financial Support: We are also proud to provide financial support to the Buena Vista Booster Club, Buena Vista Youth Sports Programs, Buena Vista School Organizations and numerous other events and organizations throughout Chaffee County.
