Ashlie

Ashlie joined the CPE team in 2022. She has worked in Ophthalmology and Optometry offices as a receptionist and medical records specialist since 2015. She was born and raised in Northern California exploring the lakes and waterfalls of Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen. She now lives in Orlando, Florida with her husband Charles and her dog Zeke. In her free time she enjoys going to theme parks, kayaking with manatees, or going to the beach.

Anna, C.P.O.

Anna joined the C.P.E. team in spring of 2019 but has enjoyed living in the valley since 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – Go Tarheels! When she is not working at Collegiate Peaks Eyecare, she is running her photography business, Anna Sees Photography, or enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Devin, avalanche SAR dog, Grua, and daughter. She received her Certified Paraoptometric (C.P.O) from the American Optometric Association (A.O.A.) in 2020.

Carrie, A.B.O.C., C.P.O.

Carrie joined the C.P.E. team in 2018. She was introduced to the area through Deer Valley Ranch, where she eventually worked for several years. She received her Bachelor of Science from Abilene Christian University, after which she lived and traveled around the world before the fourteeners of Colorado called her back to Buena Vista. Climbing, running, and music are some of her many passions. She is a Certified Optician (A.B.O.C.) through the American Board of Opticianry as of 2022, and she received her Certified Paraoptometric (C.P.O.) in 2019.  She is a member of the Opticians Association of Colorado.

Jenny, C.P.O.C.

Jenny decided to join Dr. Scott in his endeavors in 2002. She has a background in medical laboratory science, having previously worked as a medical technologist and laboratory director. She has worked in all areas of the practices over time. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Adams State University and received her C.P.O. (Certified Paraoptometric) in 2006, her C.P.O.A. (Certified Paraoptometric Assistant) in 2008, and her C.P.O.C. (Certified Paraoptometric Coder) in 2019.

Susan, C.P.O

Susan joined the CPE team in 2015, having previously worked in Chaffee County for Spring Canyon Christian Camp & Conference Center, and Noah’s Ark Whitewater Rafting and Adventure Program, Ltd. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State University and received her Certified Paraoptometric (C.P.O.) from the American Optometric Association (A.O.A.) in 2016. She and her husband, ArkAngler’s GM Braden Baker, have called Buena Vista their home since 2013. Together they have three young boys.   

Sha, C.P.O.

Sha joined the C.P.E. team in 2022, and has enjoyed raising her family here since 2007. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelors in Exercise Science. She received her Certified Paraoptometric (C.P.O.) from the American Optometric Association (A.O.A.) in 2023. Sha loves to spend time in the mountains – specifically skiing and hiking. She just welcomed her first grandchild.

Rollin

Rollin joined the CPE team in 2024, ending his stint as a stay-at-home dad. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University. He spends his spare time with his family, and volunteering with the Copper Mountain Ski Patrol.
